Storm Basketball League

The Storm Basketball League (SBL) is a central venue intra-mural league, with games played on a Friday evening at Holy Trinity & St. Wilfrids, 5-10pm in 1 hour slots. Younger teams will play earlier and elder teams later.

The league is for boys and girls between the schools years of year 1 to year 13. You can join the league if you either attend a session at one of our Hubs, attend a school session, currently play for a National League Team

Teams will be drafted evenly and consist smaller number of players to allow plenty of playing time for all, in a competitive environment. We have made it possible so anybody can play in the league with 8 different age groups within the SBL.

The league is designed to provide a fun & friendly environment for new players to learn the game and have competitive opportunities

Players from across our 5 hubs will be battling it out for the CBL Trophy! The five Hubs are Crawley, East Grinstead, Horsham, Horley and Haywards Heath. If you aren’t from one of these towns but want to get involved reach out to us and we will inform you of your closet session! Info here: https://stormbasketballclub.com/training-times/

Players sign up as individuals and are placed on a team – this can be based on friendship groups, schoolmates, or building teams to be as balanced as possible across the league.
